Plan Process and Public Input

There are five major steps to the planning process for the Madison Comprehensive Plan. These steps are:

  • Inventory
  • Issue Identification
  • Alternatives Analysis
  • Plan Development
  • Plan Adoption
These five steps are explained in the text documents which are visible and accessible in the list on the right hand side of this page.

The planning process for the Madison Comprehensive Plan includes numerous opportunities for public involvement and comment on the findings. These findings are being published as draft documents available for review and comment as the planning process moves forward. These draft documents are also visible and accessible in the list on the right hand side of this page.
